Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actor who became famous for her portrayal of vulnerable, but strong characters. Linney was born into the theatre of her family, with her father Romulus Linney was a playwright. Linney received her degree at Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) at New York City in 1990. The year 1990 was the year she started the beginning of her Broadway career. She was praised for her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
